Family Service Thames Valley seeks community involvement at every level of its operation. As a non-profit agency, FSTV believes it is important for people from the community to become directly involved with the agency and the services we provide. We rely on the help of volunteers to provide governance, input into decision-making, assistance with fundraising and to provide many of the services provided by the agency.

Clinical Internship Program
The Clinical Internship Program at Family Service Thames Valley is a post-graduate clinical internship for psychotherapists, counsellors and social workers at a Master’s level.
Board of Directors
The Family Service Thames Valley volunteer Board of Directors possesses a broad range of experience, skills and abilities that have been identified as being important to achieving the organization’s mission and goals.
Fundraising and Events
Organizing Campaigns and Events
If you are organized, can facilitate meetings and enjoy working as part of a team, help organize an FSTV fundraising event or campaign. Your commitment may last several weeks or months, and your time may vary from a couple of hours each month to several hours leading up to an event.
Volunteer to organize and promote an FSTV event and encourage the public and your own networks to get involved. Committee roles may involve recruiting event volunteers and participants, coordinating on-site logistics on the day of the event, communicating with sponsors and more.
Volunteering on Campaigns and Events
If you’re looking for a short-term volunteer role, we invite you to consider helping us with ongoing or upcoming FSTV fundraising events or campaigns.
Community events could involve a number of hands-on tasks such as setting up the event, welcoming participants and guests, helping with on-site activities, promoting key messages and cleaning up after an event.
